Digital Archiving

After studying photography while completing by B.A. in Art at George Mason University, I am handling film and color sides once again, but out of the darkroom and with a fleet of scanners as a Digital Archivist.

I work with clients by digitizing their 2D media, such as photographs, 35mm negatives, slide transparencies, and handwritten letters. Many of my clients are interested in my digitizing services as a way to preserve their family archives and to share fragile mementos with others through digital avenues such as social media, emails, and virtual photo albums.

Digitizing services include

– Sort and select items to be digitized

– Scan documents

– Re-orient digitized files for smooth presentation

– Add dates, names, and other provided details to file names

– Convert photo albums into Digital PDF Booklets

– Edit photographs (adjust contrast, brightness, etc.)

– Arrange items in chronological order as best as possible
