❁❁…meet me by the lake…❁❁
To celebrate my upcoming album release, I’m hosting three intimate shows in three of my favorite local parks throughout the month of October. Lake Accotink, Rock Creek Park, and Lake Roland. These park shows will take place throughout each park. We will start in one spot, walk as a group, and we’ll stop along the way a number of times so I can share songs from my upcoming album. Attendees must register in advance (so I know how many people are coming). There are only 15 tickets to each show. Besides experiencing live music that is site-specific, attendees will also receive a copy of my new album, Lake Accotink.
This series was inspired by Dan Goldberg’s Mountain Show Series, where a group of people hiked up Mt. Taurus in the Hudson Valley and musicians performed sets along the way throughout the hike. I got to perform a Mountain Show in 2015. I hiked all day with a guitar! Someone else hiked all day with various equipment, like mics and little amps.

If you’d like to learn more about the album or listen to a track in advance, visit my Bandcamp. Funding from ticket sales will go towards album expenses as well as future live performances with various ensembles, like the ensemble I got to work with at the Kennedy Center earlier this month.
